Well, here we are. I'm about to retire from my corporate job and get started on this fine art photography path. I've been working on a variety of images to add to this site with much more to come. My initial products for sale will include signed digital prints (approximately 11" X 17") and quality fine art folded cards (5"X7") similar to what you would see in museum gift shops.

Some might say I'm nuts for leaving my day job to spend my time doing this. Maybe so, but I'm getting older, the kids are grown, and I like creating what I consider beautiful images. I don't care what others think. I'm going to spend my time doing what I love to do. I hope you enjoy these images too.
You may be thinking, what the heck does Tartuga's Pond mean? In short, nothing. When I set up my company, I wanted to come up with a name that was creative and a little different. In high school and college, I had the nickname "Turtle". A few years ago, I went to Italy with good friends and was given a ceramic coaster with the Italian name for turtle, Tartuca, imprinted on it. I have always thought that "c" was a "g", until I looked at the coaster closely after I registered my company name. Dumbkoff, no wonder it was so easy to register my company name and set up a domain. Tartuga isn't a real word. However, it certainly is different. Nevertheless, I love the company name and the logo my graphic designer daughter created. And I hope you like what you see on this site.
Let's get this party started!
